It's almost as if I've been guided and forced into the following guitar.
I was building that one... they messed up the kit, I'm forced to wait more, I say "just build me one then"... I place the order and realize that I wanted two different necks between the one I'm getting from a guy I know and the one I ordered... he's already placed the order for the birdseye maple one and I wanted to have one of each....
I try to order a different trem than the Floyd's that are on all of my other guitars... then I find out that my custom strings and tuning will ONLY WORK with a floyd lock nut. [img]mad.gif[/img]
But my sales rep calls me and the returns dept. already credited me for the kit instead of applying the credit to the new order... so in the process of fixing the payment, I fix the order and now have THIS guitar coming:
I'm extremely happy with these options, and I only had to put a down payment on it, so I can wait until my other guitar, some equipment, and my car sell to pay off the rest. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Any reason for the dislike of Floyds?
I personally am not real fond of them myself, just wondering about your experiences.
I LOVE floyds... i have them on all of my guitars.
I wanted to try something new, but our destinies are forever intwined... I am, and will always be, a Floyd Rose man. Now if I can only figure how to put them on my accoustic. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Peeker.. the upside-down-and-backwards logo was a photoshop mistake that I really liked... I asked them to do that for me. (Yeah, now they know I'm crazy too. [img]tongue.gif[/img] )

a Kramer (real 80's special there) [img]redface.gif[/img] outfitted with one, all that happened was a great many strings breaking at the nut..had it adjusted etc..tried everything under the sun. Maybe it was the GD Kramer.

Pooh... I've never been a fan of Kramers. I've been a Charvel and Jackson guy for 20 years and the only time I've broken strings is when I'm doing stupid stuff like holding the guitar out in front of me by just the whammy bar and shaking the shit out of it. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

LMAO!! Nope I never did that move. But I will admit that after living with that Kramer for a while it ended up being one of those "Guess I'll keep it for my kids, if I have kids, in case they want to ever try guitar" type guitars.
